We must do to Christy what we did to Harper. Justin listened to Canadians, will Pam listen to us?

My letter to the EAO dissapeared and was probably politically discarded for being honest about my personal feelings toward Woodfiber LNG. I am sick of these old out dated money men with their parochial and myopic agenda. Be it incompetent politicians, phony laywers, sales gluttons, or the weak minded clergy, they're employed and supported by geopolitical oil and gas, mining, and forestry industries with the worlds largest stack of common evidence on the environmental threat no book touting a 2% gain can refute. Their laser focus on winning their so called solution with top down causation to the people is a mirage of wealth and an outdated way of thinking. I am truly saddened that appeasement was all it took to bring the so called mighty Squamish Band Council to their knees in the illusion that their youngest will benefit if only for a few precarious jobs welding pipe. Advocates set on a sure thing and their greed is more threating socially (even as demostrated, culturally genocidal) than terrorists in the newly declared Islamic State from our perspective. Advocated false argumentative approach as this process continues will only stoke anger with a growing, more complicated and harder to accept audience in conflict. The provincial government has failed to acknowledge and derig the contempt in delivering a credible EA process that has failed to listen, the new Sea to Sky federal minister has given no indication she will enforce social jurisdiction over industry of the un-permitted social license specifically toward Woodfiber LNG. This is where we need to act. Without the effort, There is plenty of evidence and many easily imagined scenarios that a young incomless suicide or drone could create a fireball exponentially magnified beyond the recent Chinese industrial gas station and morbid LNG tanker truck explosion videos on youtube. Once our home on the water is militarized with paranoia and naval procurement to protect oilogarcy interests in the name of safety, I would not be surprised in imagining beached beyond already stressed whale suicides from hydrophonic ferry and ship noise, and the warm water sealling the coffin into our already acidified starfish nearing extinction. Wheres the independent government funded marine study that is not paid by the penis head proponent, where are our leaders ears if they are so called LISTENING? Thank you for reading, Marcus.

I am most concerned with tanker saftey. These titanic mega bombs are touted as the most advanced technologically and operated by the worlds best qualified captains. The regime behind the threat of contracted income backed lies is merely the multinational oil industry and Asian sponsors capitalistic greed in the exploitation of environmental crimes and mayhem.

Their study to appease the EAO wasn’t reviewed in proper consultation with the out of touch local residents, it was merely a green light by foolish provincial government politicans. This leaves little hope for the newly elected federal government with the power to stop the threat to citizens under attack, marine life over the long term, and a yet to be cataclysmic disaster on par in combination of the Exxon Valdez oil spill and the recent LA hills methane gas leak.

How are we to organize before all hope fails in an accident influenced by human error or the flight of terrorism? The message has been sent to deaf ears cohearsed by economic recovery coverup of greed, what’s to stop our new prime minister from doing the same with a balanced approach? How do we address saftey in with climate change conservation race to complete resource depletion, collapse, and planetary extinction? Ever bigger questions on is pale blue dot.

Howe Sound is world renowned for its wild natural beauty, recreational opportunities, and the vibrant communities we call home. We value intact ecosystems that sustain and support our communities, our livelihoods, and our diverse local economies.

The proposed Woodfibre LNG project is based on faulty economics, will harm marine and terrestrial ecosystems, and poses an unacceptable health and safety risk for the communities of Howe Sound. This project does not fit our values.

We call on the Provincial and Federal governments to reject the Woodfibre LNG project and its associated pipelines and tankers.
