Woodfibre LNG's tax dodge & subsidies

Christy Clark's 100 billion dollar LNG prosperity fund is being funded by taxpayer money.

In the BC Liberal's 2013 Speech from the Throne, Christy Clark promised that royalty revenues from our new LNG export industry "could exceed one hundred billion dollars over the next 30 years."1 In the 2017 Speech from the Throne, the BC Liberals celebrated that "The British Columbia Prosperity Fund already has $500,000,000. A savings plan for our future, and to pay down our debt."2 But where has this $500 million dollars come from? The answer: your taxpayer dollars.
