TODAY 4:30pm at Quest! Help us stop Woodfibre LNG!

Help stop global warming

We need to demand urgent climate action now for future generations.

Squamish-ites!

We just found out that Resource Works is hosting an event with Woodfibre LNG up at QuestU, today!

Some of our volunteers are coordinating a demonstration, and we're going to be there to support.

We are facing climate catastrophe. Now is not the time to build new fossil fuel infrastructure like Woodfibre LNG that will lock in climate pollution for decades. We must shut this project down for good.

Can you be there?

Earlier this week CleanBC released it's Roadmap to 2030. Our take: it's a highway to hell. LEARN MORE

It fails to commit to the urgent actions we need to limit warming to 1.5 degrees. There is nothing in the plan to phase-out fracking or LNG exports.

BC likes to think it's a climate leader, but it's not. As COP26 approaches, we want to hold Premier Horgan accountable, so today is a perfect time to call for urgent climate action.

Oh, and if you're on twitter, I like to think I won this argument with Andrew Weaver yesterday. Andrew had falsely accused activists of protesting for the sake of it. I corrected him. Warning: I got a little less polite towards the end.

As our planet is heating up, we have to become fearless.

I am so very grateful to each and every one of you for standing with us for the last eight years. We are going to stop Woodfibre LNG. I feel it in my bones.
